Accessibility statement
Accessibility is the work we do, so we hold our own sites to the standard we audit against. If something gets in your way, we want to hear about it.
What this covers
This statement applies to flumenlabs.eu and accessibility.flumenlabs.eu.
The standard we aim for
We design and build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which covers the web requirements of the European harmonised standard EN 301 549 (clause 9, based on WCAG 2.1 AA) referenced by the European Accessibility Act.
In practice that means:
- everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that sticky headers never cover;
- text and interface colours meet contrast minimums in both the light and dark themes;
- animation stops when your system asks for reduced motion;
- pages have a skip link, landmarks, one main heading, and a descriptive title;
- form fields have visible labels and declare their purpose, so browsers can autofill them;
- layouts reflow to a 320 px-wide screen without horizontal scrolling.
Conformance status
We believe both sites conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. So far that belief rests on the evaluation described below. A full manual audit with screen readers has not been completed yet, so we describe the status aspartially conformant until it has.
Known limitations:
- Swedish text on
accessibility.flumenlabs.euwas drafted with machine help and is still waiting for native proofreading. - The free-scan results, shared reports, and the team area of
accessibility.flumenlabs.euare in English only. accessibility.flumenlabs.euneeds JavaScript to run.
How we tested
A self-assessment, last run on :
- Automated checks with axe-core (WCAG 2.0–2.2 A/AA rules plus best practices) on every public page, in light and dark themes, at desktop and 390 px mobile widths.
- Keyboard-only walkthroughs of navigation and every form.
- Checks of reduced-motion, zoom, and reflow behaviour.
